The Opportunity:

As Head of Sales for our Colombia sales affiliate with offices in Bogotá, you will report directly to the General Manager.
Within the Colombia business strategy framework, you will direct the execution of sales and marketing strategies for the product portfolio in the country.
You will achieve revenue and profit targets along with market penetration goals and aligns with compliance.
You will lead a sales team by providing guidance, training, setting sales quotas and goals, creating a sales plan, analyzing data, assigning sales territories, evaluating, and adjusting performance, and developing processes that drive sales.
You will contribute proactively to the success of the Colombia team by sharing best practices, knowledge, and talent.

The Role:

  • Maximize business opportunity, ensuring revenue growth and increased profitability through commercial policies and strategies.
    (Sales plan fiscal year).
  • To assess and effectively manage the performance, guarantee the sales force's competitive level in medical call, sales, and access market.
  • Assess and follow the planning, execution, and VEEVA CRM reports.
  • Ensuring the execution of the action plan according to the guidelines defined in the marketing strategies.
  • Ensure an optimal level of knowledge of the focus diseases, products, sales, and promotional communication techniques in the sales force.
  • Manage and control Medical Education Plan, according to the marketing strategy.
  • Ensure the coding of products in the target customers (Eps ́s, Ips ́s, distributors &logistics operators).
  • Identify key stakeholders, with decision-making faculties within the health institutions and develop approaching and direct relationships and strategies with KOL's of HCP's.
  • Manage and control of travel plans, activities, and business expenses of the sales executives, according to the budget.
  • Submit monthly evaluation of results of the sales force to Finance Heads and General Manager to receive their approvals according to the Variable Incentive Policy (Doc-No:
    BOG-CP-001 Política de Incentivos CSL Behring Colombia).
  • Ensure compliance with all CSL Behring Colombia and CSL Global SOPs, policies, and quality system requirements as appropriate for the position.
  • Ensuring that all customer contact and activity in relation to promotion of the company's products remain in compliance with the ABAC policies and the Code of Responsible Business Practices.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Degree in Business, Administration, Marketing, Finance, Life Sciences, or any other related area required.
  • Fluent English skills to include written, reading and speaking are required in order to make presentations in English.
  • 3 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry as sales force manager, sales and promotion in government and private health institutions; public relations with health officers; knowledge and management of tenders and bidding, government sales products.
