Principle Responsibilities

Performs clerical duties in accordance with office-related policies and procedures. Knowledge of office and clerical policies; computers; filing; word processing; telephone systems; accounting procedures. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Excellent communications skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to establish good rapport with department staff, personnel, and others.

Standard Duties

Assist in estimating procedures, such as, word processing, flow of correspondence, filing, review of drawings and bill of materials for material counts and quantities, compile lists of material and components into estimating computer software, such as excel, draft material lists to send out requests for pricing to suppliers and subcontractors, and other clerical services, for others to review and approve. Enters job cost and billing data into estimating software and/or automated accounting system. Calls customers and suppliers to collect overdue pricing data. Logs and tracks Precision's bids and proposals.

Requirements

High School graduate. Three years minimum experience in office administration. Must have excellent computer skills with Word and Excel.
