We are expanding our Outpatient Care Surgical Service Line! We are now hiring for either a Medical Assistant or LPN to become part of our healthcare team offering an excellent patient experience!

Position Summary & Highlights:

• Sign On Bonus offered to external candidates!

• In these roles you will assist with the delivery of patient care under the directions of the providers and an RN Supervisor in our busy surgery clinic.

What Will You Do:

• The position will support the General Surgical Services Provider Team or the Surgical Oncology team which can include other surgical areas.

• Someone who is flexible and able to multitask will excel in this role.

Work Schedule:

• 40 hours per week, Mondays - Fridays, 8:00am - 5:00pm, based on clinic needs.

Locations:

• Boise Clinic, located off of I-184 and Curtis Road

• Some providers will see patients in an outreach setting at other clinics in the Treasure Valley.

Medical Assistant Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• MA certification required within 90 days of eligibility to take a national certification exam from one of the following Saint Alphonsus approved agencies:

• American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA)

• American Medical Technologists (RMA)

• National Healthcare Association (CCMA)

• National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA)

• American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)

• Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire

LPN Minimum Qualifications:

• Colleague must have an LPN license, as defined by their primary work state (Idaho or Oregon), issued prior to hire date. Those colleagues hired before January 1, 2020 must provide licensure or proof of application in process in their secondary state by August 28, 2020. Individuals hired in this role after January 1, 2020, must provide licensure or proof of application in their secondary state by August 28, 2020 or within six months of hire, whichever date is later.

• Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire.

• Experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred.
