Three Rivers provides psychiatric, detoxification/rehabilitation, and dual diagnosis treatment through inpatient services for adolescents & adults.
Our outpatient services include a Partial Hospitalization Program offering psychiatric day treatment for adults and an Adult Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program offering day and evening sessions.
Three Rivers Behavioral Health currently has a PRN Phlebotomist position available for morning hours (approximately 6am - 9am).

Responsibilities include:
To perform venipuncture competently and expediently with a thorough knowledge of test requirements and handling of specimens.
Obtains blood specimens by reviewing test orders, reading and asking for patient identifiers; complies with infection control standards while performing venipuncture, initialing, dating, and noting time of collection and proper processing of specimens for transport/pick-up.

Qualifications

The minimum requirements for this position are:

Certification in Phlebotomy

At least one year experience

Must possess thorough knowledge of test requirements and handling of specimens.
Knowledge of department and personnel policies.
Skill in oral and written communication, organizational skills, time management, and interpersonal skills.

Strongly prefer experience as a phlebotomist in the mental health field
