Software Engineer - Python - Investment Management An Investment Management firm in Central London are looking to hire a mid-level Software Engineer with strong Python experience to join their central IT team in a new permanent position.
As a Software Engineer this is a fantastic opportunity for you to develop your existing Python software engineering and Cloud technology experience by building cloud native applications to support different investment and operational functions.
Your Key responsibilities will be:
Designing and building scalable and cloud-native applications using technology such as Python, Javascript and cloud technologies.
Supporting and Implementing new applications and tools such as pricing and order management to support Exchange-Traded Fund products (ETFs) Working with internal technology leadership to determine strategy for the business technology roadmap To succeed in this role, you will have:
2-4 years' commercial experience of using Python to develop applications within Financial Services (essential), preferably with ETFs Commercial experience working with Cloud technology (preferably AWS or Azure) DevOps experience such as CI/CD setup, Docker containers, Git, Bitbucket, Terraform If you feel your experience is a fit with the above role, please apply with an up-to-date CV in the first instance
